Sony Music Group Celebrates the Holidays by Giving Back Around the World

Nothing captures the holidays quite like giving back. Sony Music Group embraced this spirit through its annual Season of Giving initiative, a global campaign dedicated to creating opportunities for our creative talent to volunteer their time and support organizations that matter most to them.

From November through early December, 20 artists and songwriters across our global roster partnered with local nonprofits, volunteering at community events from meal packing to covering grocery costs—impacting more than 3 million people worldwide.

Employees were also invited to participate in volunteering at charitable events across their communities and supporting causes close to their hearts. In addition, they had the opportunity to further amplify their impact through our annual matching program, with contributions peaking on Giving Tuesday—when SMG matched eligible donations by 200%.

These annual initiatives reflect SMG’s longstanding commitment—both as an organization, and as a collective of individuals invested in the future of our industry—to supporting communities around the world where music is created and enjoyed.

Thank you to our artists, songwriters, partners, and employees for helping us make the holidays brighter this year. Check out the video below to see highlights from our Season of Giving
