Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña once again lead the film’s cast, alongside Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, Edie Falco and Jemaine Clement.

In a three-star review, NME says it’s “hard to argue you don’t get your money’s worth” with Avatar: Fire And Ash, even if it does “retread extremely familiar ground”.

The film’s score is by Simon Franglen, who previously collaborated with James Cameron on both Avatar: The Way Of Water and the original 2009 film.
