Arc Raiders is about to drop a big new update in December, which includes a unique Flickering Flames event, that will force you to find warm spots and keep up your body temperature during the Cold Snap event which launches on December 16, 2025.

Here is what we know about the event so far.
‘Arc Raiders’ Flickering Flames Event – what to expect
Based on leaks and other details, it appears that the Flickering Flames event will be a map event, similar to the Electromagnetic Storm and Night Raid. This event will force you to seek warm sources and stay warm, possibly inside buildings to avoid the harsh conditions of the snowy landscapes.
More should be revealed alongside the Cold Snap event in December, and we will have to wait to see what maps it will be available on.
