Daesung the Trot Idol is Back, Releases Single Album “HANDO-CHOGUA”

BIGBANG’s Daesung has returned with his new single album “HANDO-CHOGUA” on December 10.

After successfully completing his 2025 Asia tour with his first solo album [D’s WAVE], released in April of this year, showcasing a rock-based band sound, Daesung, the all-rounder who transcends genres, returns with a surprise gift – a tracklist that showcases his diverse charms.

The title track ‘HANDO-CHOGUA,’ in which Daesung participated in both lyrics and composition, is a song that captures overwhelming feelings of love in an exciting trot style. Co-written with producer KUSH, and G-Dragon in their first collaboration in over a decade, features lively trot rhythms with a modern flair. With its easy-to-follow and highly addictive melody, Daesung expresses bright and cheerful love in the song. The music video features Sana of Twice.

‘One Rose’ captures theドキドキ (doki doki) feeling of confessing to the woman he loves. Based on the synth-rock genre, the song further highlights Daesung’s emotional yet powerful vocal charm.
‘Better Alone’ is an R&B ballad that beautifully showcases Daesung’s soulful vocals. Over a groovy drum sound, he calmly portrays the emotions of a breakup, singing with restrained sadness.
