This Jon Hamm dancing clip has taken over TikTok

A clip of Jon Hamm dancing in the series Your Friends And Neighbours has become the latest trend on TikTok.

The scene, originally featured in episode eight of the Apple TV+ show, features Hamm losing himself in the music as he dances at a club.

The clip has been layered with the song ‘Turn The Lights Off’ by DJ Kato and Jon Nørgaard and used by posters to describe moments, big and small, that inspired the euphoria Hamm appears to be feeling in the scene.

The user normally films themself doing something with a caption describing the context, before they close their eyes and cut to Hamm with a similar expression.

Several clips have attracted millions of views, including one where the creator describes the feeling of bonding with someone’s dog who normally doesn’t like strangers.

Having first debuted in April of this year, Your Friends And Neighbours stars Hamm as a hedge fund manager who is fired following a scandal. Desperate to make ends meet, he resorts to stealing from the homes of his affluent neighbours, only to discover secrets behind closed doors that he didn’t bargain for.

A second season of the show is scheduled for April 2026.

In June, John Hamm revisited his most famous role, Don Draper in Mad Men, as he discussed the hit drama in a special panel in Austin, Texas. He described working on the show as “tremendous honour” and revealed the amount of cigarettes his character smoked in the pilot episode alone.
