Freddie Gibbs announces UK and Ireland shows along with 2026 European tour

Freddie Gibbs has shared details of UK and European tour dates for 2026.

The new dates come as the American rapper dropped his long awaited comeback album ‘Alfredo 2’ back in July as a collaboration with hip-hop producer The Alchemist.

Announced today (Monday December 8), the new dates will see Gibbs head across the pond for a handful of UK and European shows, kicking off in The Netherlands on March 30.

The tour continues the following month with two stops in Germany, taking place in Berlin and Cologne on April 1 and 2 respectively, before making its way over to Paris and Brussels later that week.

UK dates commence at Manchester’s Albert Hall on April 7, and continue the next night (8) with a show at the Brixton Academy in London. From there, Gibbs heads to Vicar Street in Dublin for a gig on April 10, before wrapping things up in Athens on April 17.

The new gigs come following the rapper teaming up with Madlib last year to announce a 10th anniversary tour, celebrating their 2014 collaborative album ‘Piñata’.

Reviewing ‘Piñata’ upon its release, NME wrote that while the collaboration “may sound unlikely on paper”, on record, “Gibbs’ coarsely inventive flow works perfectly with Madlib’s imperfectly human beats”.

The two of them followed up ‘Piñata’ with their 2019 release ‘Bandana’, which received a glowing five-star review from NME. That review said that the LP saw “Gibbs hit another level as a lyricist. He still makes an art out of violent imagery […] but now has developed much more of a philosophical edge, too.”

“Gibbs’ bars, with which he triumphantly talks about going from food stamps to making millions, are inspiring and have a real resilience about them,” it added.
