The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Red Dead Redemption launches December 2. The same day, a mobile version of the game will launch. “More players than ever before will be able to experience these classics and take Marston’s journey with them wherever they go,” wrote Rockstar. Netflix members will also be able to download and play as part of their subscription.

Rockstar are also rolling out updates for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S owners while PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch users will also get a free upgrade.

Earlier this year, Red Dead Redemption fans were hopeful a remaster was in the works after original actor Rob Wiethoff  teased a big announcement. However when nothing was confirmed, he admitted he “possibly misled” fans over the “exciting news”.

In August, it was confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 has overtaken the original Pokémon games to become the sixth best-selling video game of all time. The sequel was released in 2018 but there’s still no word on a sequel as developers Rockstar continue to work on Grand Theft Auto 6

In other news, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 is out today (November 14) but fans really aren’t impressed with the new co-op campaign.
