The Shops at Skyview, a multi-level shopping destination in Flushing, Queens (https://www.theshopsatskyviewny.com), will host its annual Singles’ Day event on Sunday, November 9th, featuring a stylish makeover demonstration by Sephora, an interactive “cover model” photobooth, a charity winter coat drive, lucky bags for purchase starting at $11.11 from participating retailers, a “singles bar” with sweet treats and beverages, and the first post-military U.S. appearance by beloved K-drama actor Kim Mingue, a South Korean star known for his roles in popular hits including “Business Proposal” and “Snowdrop.” The event is modeled after popular Asian Singles’ Day traditions and is designed to celebrate local singles while offering fun, fashion and exclusive experiences. Tickets are required; a registration link on the center’s website will allow guests to obtain a free ticket by uploading a receipt showing $100 or more in purchases made on or after October 1st from any Shops at Skyview retailer.
