Rovv is unveiling his first solo album Rovv Song on Seoul-based label A MASS CULTURE. The title itself is a playful twist on the phrase “Love Song,” with Rovv exploring the stages of love from desire and confusion to love and heartbreak and everything in between. Rovv embraces his raw feelings on the project, crafting an honest and relatable portrayal of romance in all its forms.
Structured like a cinematic drama, Rovv Song unfolds in three thematic chapters: 1. The Spark — the moments before love begins
2. The High — the euphoria of being in love
3. The Aftermath — the unraveling and reflection post-love
The album’s title track, “What Are We”, is a standout, with the video depicting a fantasy office fling and featuring a performance by renowned Korean dancer GABEE. Co-written by Rovv and LA-based K-pop songwriter Wes (known for his work with GOT7‘s Mark), and produced by SLO (credited with production for Jay Park and aespa’s NingNing), the song blends pop and R&B to create a bright, catchy sound. Lyrically, it captures the magnetic ambiguity between two people caught in the undefined space of flirtation and emotional tension.
Rovv Song features previously released singles “Under The Radar,” “Roll The Dice (feat. DeVita),” and “DND (feat. SHIRT).” With his new album, Rovv opens a new chapter in his musical journey — one that embraces both his vulnerability and creative range, and invites listeners to grow with him.
