The video for ‘Dream’ comes shortly after the musician earned her third-ever MTV VMA nomination – this time for ‘Born Again’ with RAYE and Doja Cat. Should she win the award this year, it’ll make her the first solo artist to win in the K-pop category three times. She previously won the award in 2022 and 2024.

‘Alter Ego’ scored a three-star review, with Crystal Bell writing for NME: “‘Alter Ego’ may not fully answer the question of who Lisa is as a solo artist, but it’s an ambitious first step toward finding out. The album is eclectic, unapologetic and, at times, a little lost in its own spectacle. If ‘Alter Ego’ is about trying on different personas, perhaps the real Lisa is still emerging. And when she finds her footing, she’ll be unstoppable.”
