Ahead of their comeback, izna released a whole moodboard of stunning concept photos: everything from ethereal and preppy to full-on chic rock. A Ver. focused on soft, dream-like aesthetics, with the members showcasing a delicate yet intense side. They also embraced a more edgy concept in the B Ver. photos, featuring leather jackets and jeans set against a suburban backdrop, along with a more playful concept set in a burger restaurant. While B Ver. highlighted a fresh and fun side of the group, C Ver. took a sweet and lovely approach, presenting the members in hyper-girly, hyper-nostalgic looks by incorporating school-uniform-inspired outfits with cream and grey jackets and vests, plaid skirts, knee-high socks, and a photobooth for that extra nostalgic touch. One thing’s for sure: izna moves effortlessly from dreamy aesthetics to edgy leather jackets to teen-movie vibes, and confidence to match.
Alongside the digital single, izna released a limited edition physical release, offered exclusively through curated Korean and international retailers. The limited edition QR Album Version of “BEEP” comes packed with merch and bonus items: a heart-shaped tote bag, a hairbrush and heart-shaped keyring, a voice QR card and the QR album, as well as unique member photocards. A girl group that takes sugar, spice, and everything nice quite literally, and we are just living for it. Needless to say, before it even hit streaming platforms, the physical edition of “BEEP” sold out on PlusChat and Ktown4u, thanks to overwhelming fan demand.
As for “BEEP” itself, it’s the ultimate crush anthem: a song about the rush of falling in love during those first electrifying moments. The girls sing about needing CPR as their hearts “beep” faster because of their love interest. The track features a catchy chorus and an even more infectious hook, with bright synths and playful rhythms blending together seamlessly. And if that’s not enough to get you hooked, the rap parts, featuring impactful lines like “I wear my heart on my sleeve” and “Better call 9-1-1”, will definitely have you singing along.
The music video, released on June 9th, features all the locations previously shown in the concept photos, tying izna’s storyline and branding strategy into a cohesive, effective, and well-rounded visual narrative. From soft, ethereal outdoor shots to light-hearted and joyful diner scenes, the MV captures the essence of youthful infatuation and teen nostalgia. Soft pinks alternate with light blues and mellow yellows as the members call each other on the phone, comfort one another, cutely stress over the person who has caught their interest, and try to avoid the inevitable emergency caused by crush-overload.
The set designs range from Pinterest-perfect bedrooms to playgrounds, gymnasiums, and even a dramatic emergency scene complete with an ambulance in the background. Through curated visuals like neon hearts that mischievously transform into ketchup (!) hearts, and a memorable choreography that perfectly highlights the lyrics of the chorus, izna deliver a fresh concept that captures the thrilling rush of a first crush in the most adorable and nostalgic way possible.
izna recently performed at Taiwan’s KT POP 2025 festival and are set to appear at KCON LA 2025 and Japan’s Summer Sonic festival alongside other renowned artists. Earlier this year, the group also made a refreshing appearance at the Karl Lagerfeld pop-up opening event in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong, leaving a lasting impression on both fans and the fashion world. With a comeback under their belt and several major stage appearances and events lined up, izna are ready to take over the summer, and with “BEEP” as the soundtrack, we can’t help but turn the volume up.
