On May 12, various South Korean news outlets reported that Suzy Bae is in talks to star in a new drama called Men of Harem. The fantasy romance drama is based on a popular web novel and centers on a domineering Empress, who uses her male servants to secure her throne. Studio Dragon is producing the drama, and casting for the male lead is underway.
When asked for comments, Suzy’s management company, Entertainment, said she had received the script and was positively considering the role. The 30-year-old is set to star in the upcoming Netflix drama Genie, Make a Wish alongside Kim Woo Bin.
As fans will know, in February of this year, Suzy made her first return to the music scene with the hit single “Come Back.”
