PS Plus May 2025 games

PS Plus in April had another good month after March with RoboCop: Rogue City being included in the lineup. But will the PS Plus May 2025 continue the streak of great months for the service?

Here is a rundown of what we know about the PS Plus May 2025 games.

The PS Plus May 2025 Essential games will be announced on April 30, 2025, and be available from May 6, 2025. The PS Plus May 2025 Extra and Premium games will be announced on May 14, 2025, and be available on May 20, 2025.

While we don’t know the official lineup yet, here are our best guesses for the Essential games.

‘Metal Eden’ – PS5

It has been a while since we have had a day one release for PS Plus, but Metal Eden makes a lot of sense. An advanced HYPER UNIT ASKA is sent on a suicide mission to rescue the citizens’ COREs from the vast monolithic city MOEBIUS once a hopeful new home for humanity now turned into a deadly trap. ‘Skull and Bones’ – PS5

Prepare for devastating battles by crafting a dozen different ships and equip your fleet with powerful loadouts. Unlock stronger weapons as you progress and customize your ships to reflect your unique pirate playstyle. Voyage into the Indian Ocean and explore a vast open world teeming with cutthroat pirates, deadly sea monsters, supernatural threats, devastating storms, and more.

‘Grime’ – PS5, PS4

Destroy… Absorb… Grow… Grime is a fast and unforgiving action-adventure RPG in which you crush your foes with living weapons that mutate form and function and then consume their remains with a black hole to strengthen your vessel as you break apart a world of anatomical horror and intrigue.
