Grand Theft Auto 6 fans are convinced the long-awaited game will feature an appearance from Megan Thee Stallion.

Grand Theft Auto 6 was officially unveiled in December 2023 and is due for release later this year. Not much has been revealed about the game, but it will see players return to the Miami-inspired world of Vice City.
Earlier this week, Megan Thee Stallion shared a behind-the-scenes video from a photo shoot on her Instagram stories. The clip sees Megan wearing a bikini, posing with a bottle and standing in front of a familiar-looking drawing of some palm trees. A similar background was used in the artwork for Grand Theft Auto 6, and fans believe Megan Thee Stallion could be shooting some promo for the game to promote a starring role

However Megan Thee Stallion later posted the same video on her Instagram grid as part of an advert for her own Chicas Divertidas Tequila, which has some fans now doubting a collab is coming.
Megan Thee Stallion’s song ‘Cash Shit’ features in Grand Theft Auto: Online while fellow rapper Dr. Dre released new music through the online multiplayer game as part of The Contract expansion.
Last year, ScHoolboy Q confirmed his music would be used in Grand Theft Auto 6, after previously featuring on the soundtrack for GTA 5.
T-Pain has also hinted that he’s involved in the creation of the long-awaited sequel. Responding to a fan question about playing Grand Theft Auto Online, T-Pain explained that he used to be an active member of the GTA role-playing server NoPixel before being asked to quit because of the conflict of interest.
“I used to be on NoPixel, then I started working on Grand Theft Auto 6, and [Rockstar] told me I couldn’t do role-play anymore because it kind of goes against [their rules],” he explained.
Last month, a report claimed Grand Theft Auto 6 would take influence from virtual worlds like Fortnite and Roblox, both of which feature regular collabs with high profile musicians.
The latest rumour about the second trailer for the game points to something coming next month, with fans looking at the rollouts of GTA 5 and Read Dead Redemption 2 for the new prediction. It comes after Strauss Zelnick, the boss of Grand Theft Auto 6’s publisher Take Two, said he “felt really good” about the game being released this year.
In other news, the team behind The Witcher 4 has confirmed that the game isn’t coming out anytime soon.
