‘K-band best rookie’ Dragon Pony, has released their second EP “Not Out” on March 19.

“Not Out” an autobiographical narrative and a cross-section of imperfect youth, released!

The title of this EP and the title of the main title song, ‘Not Out’, is an expression derived from baseball terminology, referring to the opportunity for a batter to still run as a runner without being out under certain conditions even in a three-strike situation.

The song ‘Not Out’, which likens the appearance of modern youth who constantly challenge themselves toward their dreams to a not-out situation, conveys encouragement that although it is an anxious and bleak reality like a long tunnel, the life of challenge itself is meaningful. At the same time, even if the end of the effort is a moment of despair, we are determined to move forward without fear.

The lyrics are characterized by maximizing the emotional immersion through the elegant composition of placing and dismantling instruments in the right places, allowing you to feel the lyrical atmosphere and hot musical energy at the same time.

‘Not Out’ Music Video

This EP includes two new songs, the title song ‘Not Out’ and the sub-title song ‘NEVER’. ‘NEVER’, which begins with a calm acoustic guitar melody, captures the emotions of the moment when you decide to break up after hesitating, with appealing singing and a strong rock sound in the latter half.

In addition, three songs that have been consistently loved on offline stages, ‘Waste’, ‘To. Nosy Boy’, and ‘On Air’, are included. From aggressive grunge to vintage-textured blues and refreshing and cool guitar-toned pop rock, Dragon Pony’s wide musical spectrum is cleverly utilized in five tracks that combine various genre elements based on authentic rock sounds.

In addition, this album is also produced independently, with all members as main producers, directly taking charge of writing lyrics, composing, and arranging all the songs.
