On Wednesday (January 22) the K-pop idol and her label Odd Atelier announced the LP titled ‘Ruby’ will be released on March 7, featuring collaborations with DoechiiDua Lipa and more.

Now, she’s revealed she’ll be playing three small shows once the LP has come out, which she described as “intense and intimate as I like it” on Instagram.

The first show will take place on March 6 – the night before ‘Ruby’s release – at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theatre. From there, she’ll head to New York to play Radio City Music Hall on March 10, followed by a gig in Seoul, South Korea on March 15.

Tickets will go on sale next Friday (January 31) at 10am local time, and a portion of proceeds will go towards recovery efforts following the Los Angeles wildfires that took place earlier this month. You’ll be able to get yours here.

‘Ruby’ will contain a total of 15 songs, including her October 2024 single ‘Mantra’. According to a video clip shared earlier this week teasing the album, it will feature Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ and Kali Uchis as guest artists.

Prior to the announcement, Jennie had teased the record in previous interviews. “My album is going to sound very different. My next single is going to sound very different from ‘Mantra’, I feel like every step is going to be different,” she said in a 2024 recap for Christmas.

In another interview with Billboard earlier this month, the Korean musician also revealed that she “struggled a lot in the beginning” recording ‘Ruby’ while in Los Angeles. Jennie also noted that the creation of her album helped her better understand her sense of self. “It’s a fight between me, myself and I — I’m not easy to convince,” she shared.

Upon its release in October, ‘Mantra’ earned Jennie her first solo Billboard Hot 100 appearance, marking her first solo entry after she previously appeared on the chart alongside The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp for The Idol soundtrack ‘One Of The Girls’.

‘Mantra’ was also Jennie’s first solo project under her self-established label and since she signed a partnership deal with Columbia Records. Odd Atelier was established in late 2023, shortly after YG Entertainment announced that she and her BLACKPINK bandmates would not be renewing their solo contracts with the company.
