The nominations for The 2025 BRIT Awards have been announced, and Charli XCX leads the pack with five nods.
The BRAT artist is up for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Dance Act, and Best Pop Act this year. Seven-time BRIT winner Dua Lipa and last year’s BRITs Rising Star winners The Last Dinner Party are each up for four awards, as is Ezra Collective. The latter are making their BRITs debut this year after winning a Mercury Prize in 2023, becoming the first jazz act to do so.
British legends The Beatles also received a Song of the Year nomination for “Now & Then,” nearly five decades after their last BRITs nod. Other nominees across categories include Fred Again…, Chase & Status, Beabadoobee, Central Cee, JADE, Michael Kiwanuka, Rachel Chinouriri, and Sam Fender. Nia Archives’ two nominations this year make her the most nominated jungle artist in BRITs history—she won the Rising Star prize in 2023.
Among the international acts recognized this year are Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, Eminem, and Teddy Swims. The winners of Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year—in addition to more show announcements—will come over the next few weeks.
“This year’s nominations once again showcase what an incredible array of diverse talent we have here in the UK,” Damian Christian, Managing Director and President of Promotions at Atlantic Records and Chair of the BRITs Committee for 2025, said.
