The new dates come as an extension to their already-announced shows for 2025, which already includes two stops in the UK.
Each of the two new dates will take place at outdoor venues later this summer. The first will be held at the Malahide Castle in Dublin and will take place on June 30.
The second will see Simon Le Bon and co. head over to Cork for a headlining stop at the city’s Virgin Media Park on July 1.
For each show, the band will be joined by singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Nile Rodgers and his band Chic as special guests. Tickets go on sale this Friday (January 24) at 10am local time.

Duran Duran’s 2025 live dates are:
JUNE
30 – Malahide Castle, Dublin, Ireland [NEW]
JULY
1 – Cork, Virgin Media Park, Ireland [NEW]
3 – Exeter, Powderham Castle, UK
5 – Chelmsford, Chelmsford City Racecourse, UK
The announcement of the new shows come as the ‘80s pop icons kicked off a handful of dates across the pond recently. To mark the end of 2024, the band played two nights at the Fontainebleau venue in Las Vegas, before welcoming in the new year with shows at the Yaamava Theater in Highland California on January 2 and 3.
Shortly before then, the ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’ stars also celebrated Halloween 2024 with new material – dropping the ‘Danse Macabre’ album. This saw them record covers of huge artists like Billie Eilish and Talking Heads. Soon afterwards they also shared an expanded version.
Back in 2023, the band spoke to NME about how they would love to play at Glastonbury – something they have surprisingly not yet done. “I’d love to [do it] – we just need to get the right slot, that’s all,” Le Bon said.
“We have had the chance to do it before, but it wasn’t playing the main stage and I think we’d like to be doing that for sure. I’m sure we’re in negotiations [with Glastonbury], and if not, we will be.”
The 2025 edition of the iconic Worthy Farm festival is set to return between June 25 and 29, and will be the last before the event takes a year off in 2026.
So far, the line-up has not been announced, although a couple of artists have been confirmed.
Rod Stewart has been announced as taking on the Sunday afternoon Legends Slot, and Neil Young has been confirmed as a headliner. The latter came after the singer announced that he had been booked for the festival but would be backing out. Shortly afterwards, he shared another update saying that he had overturned his decision and would, in fact, be appearing at the 2025 instalment as one of the three headliners.
Although those are the only two artists officially confirmed, Nile Rodgers & Chic are also known to be performing at Glasto 2025. This comes as the singer shared by accident that the band would also be returning to the site while accepting an award last year.
The full line-up for the festival is usually shared in March, and the other rumoured headliners include Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Fender, The 1975, Taylor Swift and Stevie Wonder.
