On January 20, GOT7 who recently celebrated their 11 year anniversary, released their new EP album “Winter Heptagon.” The releases is GOT7’s first full-group album in about 3 years. The album name ‘Winter Heptagon’ refers to the 7 stars that are always there but are more visible in the winter. These are the members of GOT7, and through the moment when the 7 stars shine even brighter as one.
This album contains a total of 9 songs that contain the 7 different emotions of the 7 members, including BamBam’s ‘PYTHON’ and ‘TIDAL WAVE’, Jackson’s ‘SMOOTH’, Youngjae (Ars)’s ‘Our Youth’, Yugyeom’s ‘REMEMBER’, Jay B’s ‘Darling’, Mark’s ‘OUT THE DOOR’, Jinyoung’s ‘her’, and the fan song ‘Yours Truly,.’ composed by leader Jay B and written by all members.
The title song ‘PYTHON’ is a song that sings of fate with a person that can never be escaped, along with a pop melody of hip-hop beats. The addictive yet sophisticated sound allows you to meet GOT7’s maturity.
In the music video GOT7 shows off various of charms with scenes such as a sophisticated artist image on the gorgeous stage and the innocent image on the pure snowy field.
Following their comeback, GOT7 will be performing on various music broadcasts throughout this week. They will also be holding their 2025 solo concert ‘NESTFEST’ at the Seoul Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium on February 1-2. They plan to showcase their new songs, including ‘Python,’ on stage.
