All ‘Marvel Rivals’ Lord icons and how to get them

Marvel Rivals doesn’t have too many long-tail rewards to chase. While you can earn some currency and gallery items and collectibles by completing achievements, each individual character doesn’t have much to grind for. However, the ultimate reward in each hero’s proficiency bar is the Lord icon.

These are glossy icons that you and other players can see in matches that change how the hero looks in menus and the UI. Functionally, they don’t change the gameplay. However, they do look nice and show off your time investment in a hero. Here is how you can earn them exactly and what they all look like.

How to earn Lord icons in ‘Marvel Rivals’

Lord icons are earned by reaching 500 proficiency points with a hero. Points are earned by completing any of the 4 quests each hero has:

Hero usage time reaches 60 minutes – 60 proficiency points
Deal damage/block damage/heal teammates – 10 proficiency points
Land final hits/land KOs/land kills or assists – 10 proficiency points
Use abilities/weapons to land hits or kills – 10 proficiency points

These quests are repeatable, so you can earn all your points from only one or two of them. But, generally, most of your points will be spread out between them all. Each hero has their own individual quest in the fourth slot based on their abilities and skills. For example, Black Widow requires critical kills, while Iron Man requires hits with his Repulsor Blast. Vanguards require you to block damage while Strategists ask for healing. The quests can be seen on each Hero Profile page, under the level tab in the Proficiency menu.

Generally, most of these can be completed easily, and you shouldn’t have to force certain situations. They will just take some time to grind in order to earn enough proficiency points.
