For Your Viewing Pleasure: Framing the Face

Welcome back to another instalment of For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.

It is always surprising how fast January flies — what do you mean we are already halfway through the first month of the new year? Despite this, we hope you, Readers, have been able to take some time to reflect on 2024 and grow into 2025. The theme of the below editorial shoots, too, emphasize unique framings of the face and by doing so, the individual. Choi Hyun-seok uses an artful placement of his hands to give his slightly smoldering look some extra power, while G-Dragon‘s signature scarf around his head gives a natural framing of his face and his brightly-colored hair. Whether black or white or in full color, such as Eunji‘s photoshoot, the face is the focus — so let these stars draw you in.
