On January 13, SM Entertainment unveiled a teaser clip announcing the release of its upcoming compilation album. Titled ‘2025 SMTown: The Culture, The Future’, the album, which celebrates the agency’s 30th anniversary, arrives on February 14.

“Through this album, we will once again prove the power of SM music that transcends generations,” said SM Entertainment per Yonhap News Agency.

The record will include a total of 17 tracks, including lead single ‘Thank You’, which will be performed by all artists under the agency. The rest of the album comprises remakes of past SM Entertainment hits by its current roster, which include BoA, Super Junior, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa and more.

The announcement comes days after the company held its annual SMTOWN concert at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, during which its artists debuted some of the remakes that will feature on the album.

These included ‘Run Devil Run’ by Red Velvet (originally by Girls’ Generation), ‘Juliette’ by WayV (originally by SHINee), ‘Rum Pum Pum’ by aespa (originally by f(x)) and more

The concert kicks off the company’s ‘SMTOWN Live 2025’ world tour, which will head to Mexico City, Los Angeles and Tokyo later this year.
