The new single for Nuxx Vomica gets straight to the point. She’s definitely not fucking around here: “Bird Brain” is an aggressive, in-your-face assault on the senses.

Nuxx Vomica’s specific sound—the one she’s coined electronic bitch music—is a fresh take on EBM, an upward movement from her previous work that festered in harsh basslines and hardcore-esque kicks. As the first single off her upcoming Bird Brain EP (out in May 2nd via SYNTHICIDE), “Bird Brain” reinforces the artist’s pursuit for jolting music, tracks that refuse to fold into the background.

Bird Brain is Nuxx’s red-carpet rollout. She’s pulling a faux-fur coat over the latex bodysuit and shedding the black lights for spotlights. Bird Brain is music for reinvention. Cutting every shirt you own into a crop top. Dying your own hair without reading the package. The songs demand you dance—at the club, in the driver’s seat, or in your mirror dripping mascara. It’s less who you are and more what you are. Nuxx is on her cunt shit—are you? 

The video for “Bird Brain” follows suit in its frenetic cuts shot in an abandoned amusement park. High octane and ferocious, Nuxx Vomica is ready to takeover 2025 with Bird Brain, out on May 2nd.
