Doechii is the star of the show in her long-awaited music video “Denial Is A River” co-starring a slew of cameos.
Directed by Carlos Acosta and James Mackel, the TDE rapper recreates iconic scenes from Family Matters to The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air before turn up on the set in front of a live studio audience. “Platinum record this, viral record that / I’m makin’ so much money, I’m all over the net,” raps the Swamp Princess. “I’m moving so fast, no time to process / And no, I’m not in a gang but I’m always on set.”
The video features cameos from Zack Fox, ScHoolboy Q, Rickey Thompson, Teezo Touchdown, Earl Sweatshirt, SiR, Baby Tate and DJ Miss Milan.
The record is lifted from her highly-praised project Alligator Bites Never Heal.
