Ken of the group VIXX has released his solo 2nd mini album “PUZZLE” on December 26.
Ken transformed into a band vocalist and showed off his intense energy while simultaneously targeting the hearts of viewers with his free-spirited mood.
Ken’s second mini album ‘PUZZLE’ is an album that contains the wide musical spectrum and charm that composes vocalist Ken like a puzzle where many pieces fit together to create a single picture, and he has taken on a new musical challenge, breaking away from the ballads he has presented so far. It is a highly sensitive album with a unique tone and various themes in a total of 5 tracks, including the title song ‘Gradually’.
The title song ‘Gradually’ is a rock genre song that stands out with its intense yet emotional band sound, and Ken’s solid voice and singing ability stand out. Like the meaning of ‘little by little, slowly without knowing’, it recalls the moment when love began and expresses love that deepens as time passes, giving listeners a deep impression. In this music video, which likens love to a butterfly, Ken, who is left alone in the ruins, follows the butterfly and takes one step at a time, expressing the journey with strong contrast of images, and it will present a visual beauty that feels like watching a movie.

In addition, ‘Bye My Only Universe’ where you can meet Ken’s diverse vocals with the addition of strong guitar sounds and strings, ‘We are Forever’ is a pop ballad featuring increasingly grand string sounds. The beautiful lyrics containing the message of being together forever even after this night passes also stimulate another emotion. ‘Make Me Strong‘ with band sound containing the message that he will protect the person he reaches out to with even stronger strength, and finally ‘Dear Little Star‘, a fan song containing a heartfelt confession for the fandom baby star.. are composed of various genres such as pop and rock, drawing attention.
Ken shared his thoughts on the release of his new album through his agency, saying, “I’ve had a busy year this year, and I think I’m ending it on a good note with ‘Puzzle.’ As this is my first mini-album in four years, I tried to show various sides of myself for Baby Star.”
