The Recording Academy shared the additional nominations for the 2025 Grammys yesterday (December 20). The latest batch of adjustments to the nominee list saw both artists given Best Recording Package nods for serving as art directors on ‘Brat’ and ‘F-1 Trillion’.

Both records were already included in the category, but neither musician was listed as an eligible nominee when they were initially announced.

Now, they’ll be up against Kate Bush in the category, with the ‘Wuthering Heights’ singer earning her first Grammy nomination in nearly 30 years for serving as art director on the ‘Hounds of Love the Baskerville Edition’.

The latest update pushes Charli’s nomination total to eight at next year’s event, including for Record of the Year with ‘360’, and Album of the Year for cultural phenomenon album ‘Brat’.

Meanwhile, Malone is now on seven nominations, which include Best Country Album and Song of the Year for his collaboration with Taylor Swift on ‘Fortnight’. Their joint effort featured on Swift’s 11th studio record, the follow-up to 2022’s Grammy-winning ‘Midnights’.

Elsewhere, the ‘Circles’ singer was recently announced as the Sunday night headliner of Coachella 2025 alongside Lady Gaga and Green Day.

The festival is set to take place from April 11-13 and April 18-20 with performances from Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, solo performances from BLACKPINK‘s Lisa and Jennie, the original MisfitsThe ProdigyFKA TwigsBeabadoobee, as well as XCX, whose culture-dominating June release ‘Brat’ has been named as the Album of the Year by NME.

“‘Brat’ as cultural sensation was a sight to behold, to be sure. But ‘Brat’ as an album – the record at the core of the rollout, the music beneath the marketing – is quite simply exceptional,” NME wrote.

“As a songwriter and lyricist, Charli has spent much of her career oscillating between the poles of unfuckwithable attitude and naked vulnerability. ‘Brat’ moves effortlessly along the scale, giving us bulletproof bangers that remain wrenchingly human. This album is not only peak Charli, but a new bar set for modern pop.”

‘Brat’ summer looks set for round two in 2025. As well as Primavera, Charli has been confirmed as the first headliner for next year’s Parklife and the ‘360’ artist has also curated a day at London’s LIDO Festival, where she’ll deliver a bill-topping performance.

Additionally, she will play two outdoor shows in Belfast and Dublin, perform at Coachella 2025, and, on top of that, she’s also announced a US arena tour for April and May.
