On December 18, NMIXX’s Haewon dropped a cover of Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Please Please Please’, where she is accompanied by a guitarist. The new performance is part of the girl group’s Re-MIXX series on YouTube.

The new clip sees Haewon seated in a warmly lit room as she sings an acoustic version of the June 2024 single. “Please, please, please don’t prove I’m right / And please, please, please don’t bring me to tears when I just did my makeup so nice,” she sings.

The new clip makes Haewon the sixth and final member to release a cover video as part of the group’s Re-MIXX series after they first launched it six months ago with vocalist Lily’s cover of Avril Lavigne’s 2002 hit ‘Complicated’.

Back in August, NMIXX dropped their third mini-album ‘Fe3O4: Stick Out’, which was led by the single ‘See That?’ and a pre-release track titled ‘Sickuhh’. Prior to that, their last release was their January mini-album ‘Fe3O4: Break’, which was led by the singles ‘Soñar (Breaker)’ and ‘DASH’. The latter has since been named one of NME’s 25 Best K-pop songs of 2024.

In other K-pop news, TWICE have begun teasing plans for their next world tour with “surprising, awesome stages” in 2025. This comes shortly after the girl group released their fourteenth mini-album ‘Strategy’ earlier this month.
