Four new summer 2025 headline shows have been announced for the Halifax’s Piece Hall, with performances lined up from Paul Heaton, Travis, Echo & The Bunnymen and Faithless.
Taking place as part of TK Maxx Presents Live At The Piece Hall 2025, four new headliners have been confirmed today (November 25), for performances taking place between July and August 2025.
The first of the newly-announced acts to take to the stage is Paul Heaton, who has a slot lined up for July 23. Joining the former Housemartins frontman will be guest singer Rianne Downey who features on his new album, ‘The Mighty Several’, alongside special guests include Billy Bragg.
On July 26, Glasgow band Travis will be taking to the stage as headliners, following on from the release of their latest album ‘L.A. Times’ earlier this year. The show comes following on from a run of shows they embarked on earlier this year and sees them joined by Mercury Prize nominees The Magic Numbers.
Liverpool rock icons Echo & The Bunnymen will headline on August 9, and the announcement comes as they are gearing up to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their classic album ‘What Are You Going To Do With Your Life?’ later this week.

Finally, electronic music legends Faithless complete the list of new headliners confirmed for The Piece Hall next summer. Set to perform on August 22, the slot comes almost 30 years on from the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Reverence’, and amid the band heading on a UK and European tour this month.
“Another batch of brilliantly different bookings guaranteed to get the crowds dancing and singing along to some absolute classics,” said Nicky Chance Tompson MBE DL, CEO of The Piece Hall charitable trust in a new statement.
“Paul Heaton’s phenomenal songwriting skills means we’ll hear a stack of beautifully crafted, often quirky and always catchy songs. Likewise, Travis have a wealth of sing-a-long anthems from their iconic ’90s albums which will see voices soar across the courtyard,” Tompson added.
“I’ve wanted to hear the brilliantly unique sounds of legends Echo and the Bunnymen in our venue for some time. And hands in the air moments are 100 per cent guaranteed when Faithless take to the stage with their uplifting and anthemic sound. I can’t wait for the summer!”

With today’s announcement, the new run of artists join Weezer, who last week announced the slot as their only UK headlining show slated for next year. The likes of Bad Nerves and Teen Morgage will be serving as opening support.
Also lined up are James, The Libertines, Simple Minds, Khruangbin, Texas, Olly Murs, Rag’n’Bone Man, UB40 ft Ali Campbell, Dean Lewis and The Script.
