Although following some hip hop tropes, such as a focus on ‘grindset’, Cashies’ niche is his ability to blend different performance styles in a way that sounds complete and guided. ‘My Money’ shows this perfectly, with a coherent blend of RnB, EDM, hip hop and indie that feels genuinely fresh and original. The chorus encapsulates this as it really lifts the track to another level. Its exuberant edge makes it feel entirely fresh, with Jeremy Saunders production complementing Cashies voice and delivery.
