Here’s every song on ‘The Old Man’ soundtrack – including season two

Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow lead FX drama thriller series The Old Man.

Based on the novel by Thomas Perry, the series follows former CIA operative Dan Chase (Bridges) who has been in hiding for 30 years following the Soviet-Afghan War. Meanwhile, FBI director Harold Harper (Lithgow), who has a history with Chase, is asked to track him down.

Other cast members in the series include E.J. Bonilla, Bill Heck, Leem Lubany, Alia Shawkat, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Amy Brenneman, and Navid Negahban.

After the first season was met with critical acclaim, a second season premiered in the US on September 12, 2024. All episodes of season two are available on Disney+ in the UK.

Who composed the soundtrack for The Old Man?

The show’s score is by T Bone Burnett and Patrick Warren. Along with being a guitarist for Bob Dylan, Burnett is known for film soundtracks like Cold Mountain, Walk The Line, and 2010’s Crazy Heart.

Warren’s previous credits include TV shows The Chi and Alice. He also collaborated with Burnett on HBO series True Detective.
