Korean star SooYoung has released her long-awaited debut Japanese solo single, ‘Unstoppable’, on Wednesday, October 23 – available worldwide and the physical CD edition with additional songs released on Wednesday, October 30.

Since announcing plans to launch her solo career in Japan – her first dedicated music activity in Japan since her original debut 22 years ago – SooYoung has been inundated with comments from fans around the world, such as “We’ve been waiting,” “Welcome back, youthful days,” and “I’m so happy to see her perform as an artist once again”.

Her debut Japanese-language solo song ‘Unstoppable’ is named for the concept of “unstoppable radiance”. SeeYoung herself participated in the single’s overall production, while the music was produced by Soma Genda, who has worked with creators such as YUI MUGINO, knoak and many other global artists. The song has a dance sound with a 2000s-era retro feel, while its memorable lyrics express the life journey of a strong-willed woman. It’s a message that only SooYoung – who has overcome life’s many challenges, difficulties and successes – could convey.

In addition, the first part of her special event titled SooYoung Solo Debut Showcase ~Unstoppable~, was held on October 26 was completely sold out.
