Fans have noticed that some of the official When We Were Young festival merch has misspelt eight band names.

This past weekend (October 19) saw thousands of emo and pop-punk fans head to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Nevada to watch the likes of My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Eat World and more play their classic albums in full.
Now, multiple fans and Reddit users have spotted major errors and misspellings within the band names displayed on various items within the festival’s official merch. One of the bands who were misspelt include The All-American Rejects, who had announced that they would no longer be playing When We Were Young as the festival’s management “won’t be able to accommodate” them.

New Found Glory decided to make lemonade out of the lemons that the festival provided them with and created a limited-edition t-shirt to celebrate the moment. “If you know you know! The festival merch this weekend “renamed” a bunch of bands which was good for a ton of laughs. And ya know what? We liked ours so much we’re considering just changing our band name,” the group wrote on their official X/Twitter account. You can purchase a t-shirt here while supplies last.

In other news, The Distillers had dropped out of this year’s edition of the annual alternative music bash and frontwoman Brodie Dalle shared in an Instagram post: “If you’re only going because of us and in lieu of a refund, please dm the distillers Instagram your name, a photo of your tickets and the town you live in, we will put you on our guest list for a show in your town or the town of your choice. Please keep your tickets for validation.”
