POW Releases 2nd Mini Album “Boyfriend”

POW, who before shyly confessed their love, returns with a cheeky and energetic confession song.

POW’s second EP album “Boyfriend” contains the lively and exciting growth story of boys who have grown up a lot and talk about things they want and like in a bold way.

The title song ‘Boyfriend’, a remake of Avril Lavigne’s hit song ‘Girlfriend’, properly shows the liveliness and vitality of youth by adding a powerful and funky charm to POW’s signature refreshing sound. Alongside Avril Lavigne and the original writers, POW teamed up with Grammy-winning hitmakers to shape the new wave of teen pop for 2024.

The pre-released track number 4, ‘Sunset’, is a meaningful song in which not only member Yorch participated in the entire composition/arrangement, but all members of POW wrote the lyrics together, and it talks about the love and longing for the fans who waited for them during the hiatus. With a vintage guitar riff and a gentle, wistful melody, it gently moistens the hearts of the listeners.
