Last night (October 15), the 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards was broadcast after being taped in Las Vegas on October 8. It was hosted by Fat Joe for the third consecutive years, with Megan Thee Stallion leading the nominee list with 12 nods.
Kendrick Lamar racked up 11 nominations this year, most of which come from his Drake diss track ‘Not Like Us’, as well as his featured verse on the Metro Boomin’ song ‘Like That’.

However, by the ceremony’s end, Kendrick Lamar walked away as the night’s biggest winner, clinching eight of his 11 nominations, while Megan Thee Stallion did not win any awards.
Among Lamar’s biggest wins were Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Lyricist of the Year and more. Nicki Minaj also won a major award, taking home Album of the Year for ‘Pink Friday 2’.
Other notable wins include Sexyy Red taking home the award for Breakthrough Artist and the UK’s Ghetts winning Best International Flow. See the full list of winners below.
