Today (October 14), Big Hit Music announced that BTS’ Jin will release his debut solo album, sharing that the singer’s new music is due out sometime in November. “The detailed information will be disclosed once it is confirmed,” Big Hit Music stated in its brief statement, per Soompi.

Specifics about the record, which will follow a string of singles over the past few years, have yet to be shared but are expected in the coming weeks. The confirmation comes just days after Jin released a full version of his 2021 song ‘Super Tuna’ last week.

Jin officially made his solo debut with the single ‘The Astronaut’ in late October 2022. The song, which was co-written by Coldplay, marked the second time a member of the K-pop boyband joined forces with the British band. BTS previously collaborated with Coldplay on the latter’s 2021 song ‘My Universe’.

Last month, Jin shared in an interview with Weverse Magazine that he was working on his debut album. “[The BTS members] all finished making their own albums before enlisting,” he said. “That made me think I better not wait too long to release mine after his is out, so I’m working to get it done fast.”

Jin will also star in an upcoming Netflix variety show called Kian’s Bizarre B&B, hosted by webtoon author and TV personality Kian84. He was added to the cast in August alongside actress and TV personality Ji Ye-eun (Running Man).

The show will follow guests participating in a homestay at a guest house on Ulleungdo Island conceptualised and operated by Kian84, with Jin and Ji acting as employees of the establishment. At the time of publishing, Netflix has yet to share a premiere date for the series, though it is slated for release sometime in 2025.
