Another Halloween is upon us. I’ve set up my Halloween social media layouts, picked out a few appropriately scary books to read, and filled my calendar with upcoming local events. But is it really Halloween if you don’t have a Kpop playlist to listen to while you decorate? So, I’ve brought you even [more] songs to add to that playlist. Let’s go!

WITCH – XIKERS

When I say I’m obsessed with WITCH by XIKERS, I mean I played it at least five times in a row immediately after I first heard it.

GINGAMINGAYO – BILLLIE

BILLLIE takes the viewer on a trippy and surreal journey that is perfect for this season. But if you get this song stuck in your head, don’t blame me. Are you ready for BILLLIE’s comeback on October 16?

BOOGIE MAN – LUCY

A song named for the most quintessential monster, the boogie man, absolutely belongs on this list. If you’re lucky it’ll just be LUCY under your bed, but be sure to check.

FREAK – YUQI

(G)I-DLE Yuqi’s ‘FREAK’ music video is stuffed full of references to your favorite horror movies. The song, from her self-titled spring 2024 debut mini-album “YUQ1” is a fun addition to any creepy playlist.

SCAREDY CAT – DPR IAN

Although I’m a huge fan of Halloween, I actually don’t care for horror movies. Instead, I opt for books on the scarier side. DPR Ian has exactly the song for those of us who may rather run and hide from the latest horror flick.

KARMA- PIXY

PIXY’s 2023 ‘KARMA’ is yet another fantastic addition to both your playlist and the group’s discography.

DEMON – FROM20

‘Demon’ will add a bit of funk to your Halloween playlist. You don’t have to worry about from20 biting, but if you’re sensitive to flashing lights you may want to proceed with caution.

WICKED LOVE – YENA

Just because it’s Halloween doesn’t mean you can’t ruminate on your last toxic relationship with Yena’s help.

DRACULA – TFN

TFN’s pre-debut single ‘Dracula’ was a great musical preview of TFN and featured a fun array of costumes for the members.

ZOMBIE – EVERGLOW

Our last song is Everglow’s most recent release ‘Zombie’ will fit right in. Thank you for joining me in my search for Korea’s most fun and creepy songs. What is your favorite Halloween song, or song that just has the Halloween vibe? Happy Halloween, stay safe.
