Crafting Personal Projects
So far, RealRack DB has focused on building a solid foundation for his career, not only through releasing music but by establishing his business acumen. His two EPs, What’s Real? and No Feelings Right?, are key milestones in his musical journey.
What’s Real? was a particularly significant project because it was the first one he wrote and engineered himself. The EP is an introspective look into the personal and mental battles RealRack DB was facing at the time, offering listeners a glimpse into his struggles and growth. The success of that project paved the way for No Feelings Right?, where he took his craft to the next level by producing, recording, and engineering every track. This project marked a shift in his approach, as he decided to open up even more and release his emotions in a healthy, creative way. “Be uncomfortable and talk about what bothers you, but in a healthy way,” he advises.
What’s Next for RealRack DB?
Though he currently doesn’t have any new albums or EPs in the works, RealRack DB is consistently working on new singles and plans to release several by the end of the year. He’s taking his time to ensure the right opportunities for performances and further growth, but he remains focused on continuing his musical journey.
For RealRack DB, the most memorable part of his career so far is knowing that people enjoy his music as much as he does. Every moment spent alone in the booth is special to him, as it’s where he gets to do what he loves most.
