YOSHIKI’s high-fashion brand, MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS, made its debut at Paris Fashion Week on September 30. During the after-party, Hiroshi Fujiwara made a surprise appearance and, together with YOSHIKI, announced that they have formed a new musical duo, “BLUEBYRDS.”
Released globally on September 30, the first single, “NOTHING,” features a smooth flow of percussion notes that are layered over a delicate piano chorus. Additionally, their debut album, BLUEBYRDS, features a track-listing filled with addicting electronic ambient songs that take the listener on sonic journey. Hiroshi Fujiwara has been a significant influence in the music industry for decades and is also well-versed in fashion, continually making an impact in various fields. The collaboration of these two globally recognized figures leading Japanese culture is expected to garner significant attention.
