Gillie Da Kid and Wallo, two influential figures in the hip-hop community, have reached out to him directly, giving him the motivation to keep pushing forward. “Gillie and Wallo once called my phone direct and told me they were messing with my music and to keep going!” DJ AP proudly recalls. In addition to this, the legendary Fat Joe reached out to DJ AP in 2023, establishing a connection that has continued since.
These moments have served as personal milestones, validating DJ AP’s hard work and growth. Looking back, DJ AP acknowledges how far he’s come in just a few short years, always reminding himself to celebrate his progress. However, he also knows that the journey is just beginning. “The work isn’t even started yet!” he says with determination.

Despite the excitement and achievements, DJ AP has faced his share of challenges. Like many independent artists, he’s experienced the frustration of wasted time and money in pursuit of his dreams. “In this path of making music, I’ve come across a lot of challenges, a lot are out of my control, and I can’t do anything about it,” he admits. These obstacles can be overwhelming at times, but DJ AP’s passion for music has always kept him grounded. He reminds himself to keep music as a form of art and a hobby, finding comfort in the creative process even when things get tough.

His goals are rooted in financial independence, with plans to invest in businesses and real estate in the future. “I see myself and my team getting exactly what we want in life,” DJ AP states confidently. He envisions music as the path that will lead him to greater things, but he also sees the importance of diversifying his skills and income. “All it takes is for one [thing] to work, then they’re all going to come into play,” he says optimistically.
