The best weapon combos in Throne and Liberty are:

Sword and Shield + Daggers – best melee weapons
Staff + Wand and Tome – best magic weapons
Dagger + Greatsword – best damage potential weapons
Staff + Longbow – Best burst damage weapons
Dagger + Bow – Best PvP weapons
Sword and Shield + Wand and Tome
The Sword and Shield paired with the Wand and Tome make for the best overall combination in the game. Not only do you have good damage negation possibilities and damage output, but you can also heal yourself and melt enemies when you use both weapons in combination.
These strengths make it formidable in PvP as well. This is why it should be at the top of your list of weapon choices if you want an easy ride, especially in the late-game.

Sword and Shield + Daggers
The Sword and Shield and Daggers get our pick for the best melee weapon combination. Both of these offer great melee damage across two playstyles – rapid attacks and more precise hits. This gives you a lot of flexibility to approach fights and bosses how you like, depending on the situation.
Staff + Wand and Tome
Much like the previous weapon combination, the Staff and Wand and Tome offer the best damage, but this time for Magic instead of melee damage. This allows you to play from afar, or up close, use various abilities and skills and heal yourself and your allies in a fight where needed. There isn’t a better combination to cover these bases.
Dagger + Greatsword
The combination of the Greatsword and the Dagger is an enticing one. Both of these weapons can be used together to achieve incredible damage potential in PvP and PvE. Not only can you land strong stealthy attacks, but you can also prep huge, powerful hits with your greatsword. The one area of weakness with this combination, however, is your evasion.

Staff + Longbow
The Staff and Longbow combination has the greatest burst damage potential, allowing you to stack abilities and effects, detonating them with an arrow. This can also be done between you and your allies to amplify any effects.
Dagger + Bow
The Dagger and Bow are our options for PvP, allowing you to have both a ranged and melee option for any situation you might find yourself in. Both weapons are strong by default and grant great damage potential and evasion, key for PvP. The one downside is that healing and spells aren’t possible with this build, so you will need to hone your skills to be able to make the most of these weapons.
