Disney+ K-drama ‘Gangnam B-Side’ to premiere in November

What is the plot of Gangnam B-side?

Gangnam B-Side will follow detective Kang Dong-woo, who is estranged from his family and later shunned by his colleagues after leading a corruption bust in the police force. Long after moving his life to a quiet rural outpost, he is pulled back into the seedy underbelly of Seoul’s Gangnam district after his daughter’s friend goes missing.

Who is in the cast of the Disney+ K-drama?

Narco-Saints’ Jo Woo-jin will star as Kang Dong-woo, who investigates the disappearance of a young woman and attempts to rescue her from drugs and exploitation. Meanwhile, Ji Chang-wook (The Worst of Evil, Backstreet Rookie) will star as Yoon Gil-ho, an outlaw and back-alley enforcer in Gangnam.

Joining them are Ha Young-kyoung (Extraordinary Attorney Woo) as Min Seo-jin, the prosecutor who decides to work on the case and singer-songwriter BIBI (credited as Kim Hyung-seo) as Kim Jae-hee, a runaway.

Is there a trailer for Gangnam B-Side?

The trailer for Gangnam B-Side opens with a scene of subway trains pulling into the busy Gangnam Station, later cutting to its vibrant nightlife. Bloodied and disheveled, Jae-hee stumbles out of a club as onlookers around her move out of the way. “Gangnam is a mess because of you. Everybody is looking for Jae-hee,” says Gil-ho, as the police, underworld and the wealthy come to blows in a series of scenes.

How to watch Gangnam B-Side?

The first two episodes of the K-drama will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on November 6.
