September 26, 2024 – Sony Music Entertainment (SME) has released the trailer for new podcast, Liam and Millie, launching on 1st October. Love Island 2021 winners Liam Reardon and Millie Court started their relationship in the public eye, but three years of ups and downs have followed behind closed doors.
Currently the lovebirds are navigating long distance dating, with Liam returning to Wales and Millie remaining in Essex. You might say they’re the real-life Gavin and Stacey… Now they invite you to re-enter their lives through weekly catchups, from real long-distance calls to jumping back into each other’s arms. Every episode will be visualised on YouTube, bringing viewers into their FaceTimes or face-to-face in Wales, Essex or travelling around the world.
“Love Island was one big relationship test, and we’ve had many tests since. Now we’re hoping this podcast will only make us stronger… but if listeners can help vouch for me in arguments, that’s a big plus” said Millie Court. Liam Reardon added, “Our lives are so different outside of Love Island. I’m bricklaying and playing sports whilst Millie is living a glam life in Essex, but I spend all week looking forward to our quality time together. I’m so excited to bring the world back into our relationship – unfiltered this time.”
Everyone can hear what went down, from break-up to make-up, and what goes down from now on. The show will be full of hilarious stories, the trials and tribulations of long-distance relationships, as well as answering listeners’ love life questions and dilemmas. Witness the reality of dating when you both live in two completely different worlds, whether going through the same thing or have simply enjoyed following their 3-year journey since Love Island.
