Renowned ‘Yeolmu and Altari’ Webtoon Artist Dies At 41

Yoo Young, famously known for the ‘Yeolmu and Altari’ webtoon series has died.

Yoo Young joined the Kakao family a few years ago and has been entertaining millions through her webtoon artistry skills. ‘Yeolmu and Altari’ was launched on Kakao Webtoon in 2019 and quickly became a favorite read for many given its stance of raising awareness on raising kids who are abled differently.

Yoo Young was reported to have taken a recharge break a few days before the demise. The legend passed on in her sleep from a cardiac arrest.  As of now, there are 244 episodes of ‘Yeolmu and Altari’ with the latest release done about a week ago.

Yoo Young’s readers will forever be grateful for the smiles that she put on their faces.
