In 2017, the makers of party game Cards Against Humanity crowdfunded $2.25million (£1.7million) from 150,000 fans to purchase a “pristine” plot of land on the US-Mexico border to “protect” it “from racist billionaire Donald Trump’s very stupid wall.”

However in a new update, Cards Against Humanity has claimed that “an even richer, more racist billionaire – Elon Musk – snuck up on us from behind and completely fucked that land with gravel, tractors, and space garbage.”

7 years ago, we bought a plot of land on the US-Mexico border to stop racist billionaire Donald Trump’s dumb wall.

But this year, an even richer, more racist billionaire—@ElonMusk—fucked that land with tractors and garbage, so we’re suing for $15 million. https://t.co/MzNuHAcRIo

On a dedicated website, Cards Against Humanity alleged that Elon Musk’s SpaceX used the private land as a dumping ground. The company then claimed that after confronting SpaceX and Elon Musk, they were given a “12-hour ultimatum to accept a lowball offer for less than half our land’s value”

“We said, ‘Go fuck yourself, Elon Musk. We’ll see you in court,’ wrote Cards Against Humanity, which has since launched a new chapter of their Saves America project – Cards Against Humanity Sues Elon Musk for 15 Million Dollars.

“If we win, we’ll equally split the lawsuit’s net proceeds among all 150,000 of our original subscribers, up to $100 each,” reads the website ElonOwesYou100Dollars.

“Even if Musk un-fucks our land, that doesn’t un-fuck the damage he’s done to our reputation. 150,000 people gave us their hard-earned money, and in exchange we vowed to protect this land from racist billionaires and their dumb vanity projects. Our longstanding reputation as a company that makes outrageous promises and actually keeps them is on the line,” Cards Against Humanity continued, directing fans to a Reuters investigation that claimed “Liftoff at Musk’s SpaceX base was fuelled by wheeling-dealing Texas politicians”.

Cards Against Humanity has also said it will accept ownership of Twitter as compensation, and is currently encouraging fans to take to the social media platform to raise awareness about the situation. Elon Musk has yet to respond to the lawsuit.

In other news, the makers of cosy Lord Of The Rings game Tales Of The Shire have shared an in-depth look at the game and confirmed a new release date for early next year.
