Re:Born, an upcoming reality survival program for K-pop boy groups competing for their Japanese debut, has released a teaser video for the program.
Re:Born Production Committee (Dalalsoft Japan, Skapa JSAT, Rakuten Ticket, Inc., Nikkatsu, Inc., K-Village, Inc., Space Shower Network) announced that Re:Born will air on Japan’s largest music channels Space Shower TV and ABEMA beginning September 27.
The winning group will get a chance to make their debut in Japan. Unlike previous Audience programs, Re:Born will focus on the K-pop stage as well as the story behind it to capture real human dramas.
The main producer of Re: Born is Jang Hyuk-jin, who was the executive producer for the survival program “Produce 101 Japan” broadcast in Japan in 2021 and produced the global boy group “INI” as a supervisor. In this work, the best Korean and Japanese staff gathered together with the rap battle program “Show Me the Money” series, the master producer and hit maker Hong In-taek of “Unpretty Rapstar,” which became a pioneering program for female rappers in Korea, and the creator team of R U NEXT? which produced ILLIT.
Korean production partner The Iron Company said, “Idols from large agencies get various promotion opportunities with full support, but idols from small and medium-sized agencies are working in a difficult environment and working part-time to make a living.”

All-rounder entertainer Jang Keon Suk who made his musical debut in Japan in 2011 and is fluent in Japanese will be the program’s host.
