@AlejandroSanz: “Cuando nadie me ve, puedo ser o no ser. Cuando todos me ven, es en Netflix. Mi docuserie próximamente.“
Madrid, September 16th 2024 – This is how Alejandro Sanz has addressed his fans to announce one of the biggest projects he has ever embarked on to date and which, for this time, is not music-related but audiovisual. The heart of the matter is the documentary series by Netflix which, in collaboration with SonyMusic Vision, will reveal the present and future of the iconic Spanish singer.
The documentary series, whose title is still to be determined, will consist of three episodes and is produced by Sony Music Vision. Its filming has already started under the direction of Álvaro Ron (Superman & Lois, Hernan), a renowned filmmaker with experience in the US and Spain. Through this documentary project, millions of people will access the backstage of the life of Alejandro Sanz -one of the artists with greater recognition around the world and the Spanish who has collected the highest number of Latin GRAMMY awards in history-and will become VIP spectators of Alejandro’s next personal and professional plans after a tough stage, about which he will open up for the first time.
By means of projects like this, Netflix continues its commitment to bringing closer to viewers the stories of personalities of global stature and influence, told or authorized by the main source, hence guaranteeing an unprecedented access to his/her life. It’s the case of Beckham -one of Netflix’s most seen documentaries-, I am Georgina or Simone Biles: Rising, as well as a docuseries that will be released in the near future (Alcaraz).
