Arcane, an animated series set in the world of League Of Legends, first premiered in November 2021 and quickly became one of Netflix’s most-watched shows, claiming the top spot from Squid Games.

The second and final season is due to hit the streamer this November and today (September 12), after a lot of teasing on social media, Riot Games has confirmed which artists have contributed to the huge soundtrack.

Earlier this month, Ashnikko shared their first new material of 2024 with ‘Paint The Town Blue’ to coincide with the launch of Arcane’s season two trailer. The swaggering track is one of twenty new songs that will feature on the new soundtrack. According to a press release, each track is an original composition which has been created for specific, pivotal moments in the series.

Stray Kids’ contribution to the Arcane season two soundtrack is a song called ‘Come Play’, which also features Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello and Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko. “We’re very passionate about Arcane and League Of Legends,” said Stray Kids in a statement. “Our single ‘Come Play’ has a dynamic taste to it, bringing all sorts of voices and languages together. We enjoy playing League, and we’re excited for fans to hear this song and see the second season of Arcane!”

Twenty One Pilots are also set to release their first new material since ‘Clancy’ as part of the Arcane season two soundtrack. According to vocalist Tyler Joseph, he wrote ‘The Line’ after being inspired by season one and “how the idea of family and who can make up your family sits within the central theme, and how music contributed to bringing that to life within the world of Arcane.”
