2Z (TU:ZI) are making their way to Europe! After successfully completing their first overseas tour, “2022 A Crash Landing,” the five member band will finally have the chance to meet their European fans who have supported them with consistent love since their debut. Titled ‘A Crash Landing In Europe’, 2Z’s first European tour in 2024 will start in Lisbon on the 21st, followed by stops in London on September 22nd, Paris on the 24th, Warsaw on the 26th and Frankfurt on the 29th.
The tour is based on 2Z’s world view, ‘2Z Planet, a distant universe in search of love’. The 2Z Secret Agents, who crash-landed on Earth, have arrived in Europe and are expected to fully demonstrate their unique performance, which is dynamic and sometimes lyrical, with the theme of ‘Healing each other through music and becoming one through love.’
Their 7th mini album, ‘Do Not Disturb’, was introduced as a work of rest to look back on the first half of the four years since their debut. After the album was released, they concentrated on promotional activities such as music broadcasts, and at the end of March, they embarked on their second Latin American tour. The tour held in four cities in Brazil was enough to lay the foundation for 2Z to grow to the next level.
Debuting in 2020, with their first EP We Tuzi, 2Z’s musical style is rooted in rock, although they are happy exploring various genres. Despite the challenges posed by the ‘COVID-19’ pandemic, that didn’t stop them from working hard and going on to release an impressive 40 songs over the following four years.
The band’s name 2z is a name that symbolises their unwavering commitment to fight until the end. The group is made up of five members: Bumjun the groups leader and drummer, HOJIN, whose voice is described as angelic, JISEOB, the guitarist, JUNGHYUN, the bassist, and ZUNON, the DJ. Each member brings a unique touch to the group, whether through their musical talents or personalities. They’re origin story is an interesting one, originally models, they became musicians by chance at a group audition. Their perseverance paid off, later affectionately nicknamed ‘Children’s Singing Hope’ from their fans, From A.
