As reported by GameRant, the biggest game leaving Game Pass in September is FIFA 23. The football simulator was only added in May 2023, but as it’s part of the newly named and yearly EA Sports FC series, the next iteration, EA Sports FC 24, is already on Game Pass.
Also leaving is Payday 3. This heist game launched with many issues, and actually saw a lot of players returning to its predecessor, Payday 2. With it leaving Game Pass, you’ll have to pay to play it in future.

Slime Rancher 2 is also departing Game Pass this month. It’s been in early access since 2022 and allows you to gather cute creatures called slimes. It’s a quirky game that involves feeding the slimes so that they produce a resource you can use to upgrade your ranch and gather even more slimes.
If you’ve not played the critically acclaimed SpiderHeck yet, now is your last chance. This neon-drenched fighting game has you control spiders with laser swords. It’s a unique experience, one that won’t be on Game Pass come October.
Finally, You Suck at Parking is also leaving Game Pass this month. You Suck at Parking is a racing game where you don’t just have to worry about finishing first. Instead of simply crossing a finish line, you have to navigate into a parking space at the end of the track.
Although these games are leaving Game Pass, there are also plenty of titles joining it in September, too.
In other news, Old School Runescape has announced a drum ‘n’ bass remix album, and you can listen to the first two songs exclusively here on NME.
