The pop singer took to her official Instagram stories to share that she was “working her way back slowing” as she boxed and worked out, and went on to reveal that it will “take a minute” as she’s is busy creating new music (as per Music News).
The following clip on Goulding’s IG story showed the ‘Miracle’ hitmaker scrolling through many tracks on her iTunes which appeared to be voice note recordings that were all titled “new recording”.

Her last full-length release was 2023’s ‘Higher Than Heaven’. In a four-star review of the LP, NME shared: “‘Higher Than Heaven’ may not be strictly personal, but it definitely sounds like an album crafted with care, skill and no small amount of flair.
Goulding’s last collab track was her euphoric single ‘Free’ with Calvin Harris which was released back in July. She and Harris joined forces last year to release chart-topping hit ‘Miracle’, which the latter said at the time marked the completion of a “trilogy” of tunes between the two, following 2012’s ‘I Need Your Love’ and 2014’s ‘Outside’.
Speaking about collaborating with Goulding in a previous interview with Hits Radio, Harris explained (via Dork): “Ellie has the three good things about working with somebody. A spectacular unique voice and delivery that can carry a song emotionally.”
Goulding added: “I feel like we just have a ‘thing’, I don’t know what it is, it’s hard to explain.”
Elsewhere, back in June, Goulding was spotted as one of the many musicians and celebrities to attend one of Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Shows’ at London’s Wembley Stadium.
